Andreas Mikkelsen and Ola Fløene kicked off the 2021 season in style with a clear category win and seventh overall at the Monte-Carlo Rally.
Before the rally, Mikkelsen made it clear that not only did he want to win, he wanted to dominate.
The Norwegian has remained faithful to the plan, consolidating himself in the lead of the category from the beginning with absolute confidence in both his Skoda Fabia Rally2 of Team TOKsport WRT and in his reconnaissance.
On Sunday’s final day, there was a more cautious approach to managing the lead. A spin during the Wolf Power Stage did not compromise the final result, finishing the race 52 “.2 ahead of Adrien Fourmaux.
