M33 tests continue in view of the seasonal debut in the Italian Rally Sparco 2021 Championship which will open its doors next weekend with the 44th Rally delCiocco and Valle del Serchio, in Garfagnana.

The structure based in Rome, which takes care of the programs of the ACI Team Italia crews in the Italian top flight on the competition fields, was once again engaged today on the Piedmont hills of Domodossola, in the municipality of Craveggia, for the second day of testing with Fabio Andolfi and Stefano Savoia. The strong Ligurian driver has begun to perfect the tuning of the Michelin-wheeled Škoda Fabia R5 with which he will compete in an edition of the Italian Rally Championship which on paper promises to be among the most exciting ever.

Andolfi knows the car well, with which he has distinguished himself in the last few seasons in the FIA WRC3 carrying the Italian flag high.
Returning to racing with a complete program in Italy in the series chosen as a prerequisite for preparation on an international scale by many drivers will obviously be an important opportunity for him.
“It was a really positive test session, I’m very happy – he commented. – After the long winter break I first of all wanted to get back behind the wheel and I gotthe right feeling back. I felt very comfortable with the tires and I think we have done a great job in these two days. I can’t wait to be at the start of the Rally del Ciocco and I really thank all the people who have allowed me to have this opportunity “.

The roads of Craveggia have many similarities with the special stages of Il Ciocco that the team is preparing to face. The inaugural round of the championship will start on Friday 12 March from the Tuscan estate where it will be the logistics base until Saturday 13 March in the evening, when the checkered flag will be waved. The competition program will include three special stages to be repeated three times, plus a special stage on Friday evening inside the Ciocco estate, the first Power Stage of the season which will be broadcast entirely live on RAI Sport.
